In the "Outline of Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area," Macao's tripartite positioning as "one centre, one platform, and one base" is further elucidated. This entails the establishment of Macao as a world-renowned hub for tourism and leisure, a service platform for business collaboration between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, and an exchange and cooperation base characterized by the preeminence of Chinese culture and the harmonious coexistence of diverse cultures. In the coming era, Macao is poised to seize the opportune moments of this age, leveraging its bond with the motherland to face the world. The Macao Special Administrative Region government has granted approval for the establishment of Macao's inaugural internationally-oriented academic publishing and exchange platform, Macao Scientific Publishers (MOSP), with a distinct focus on "science and technology." Founded on September 1, 2021, MOSP is fervently dedicated to cultivating a fair, equitable, open, and unrestrained platform for the dissemination and service of scientific knowledge. Rooted in the open and inclusive milieu of Macao, MOSP serves as a conduit, steadfastly endeavoring to construct a technology exchange platform and an inclusive knowledge hub that seamlessly connect the world and China.
