Caixia Wu, The author is currently anAssociate Professor at theSchool of Foreign Languageand Culture,ZhaoqingUniversity, Guangdong, China.She holds a PhD in Semioticsand Cultural Studies, a MA inForeign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics and a BA in EnglishLanguage and Literature.Her research interests focus on semiotics and sociolinguistics.She has published more than 30 academic journal papers and presided over more than 10 research projects.
