1. Submission

• Online submission：recommend the submission method (  click here to submit online)  . The author can register and login the submission system, select the target journal, fill in the relevant content and upload the required documents, and then complete the submission easily.
• Email submission：If the online submission method is not available, you can use email submission. You can send your paper and the plagiarism check file to our official email address aesig@mospbs.com. (We do not recommend using email for submission, email is more used for contact.)

2. Acceptable Article Types

This journal accepts manuscripts in the following format types:

• Review: A review article is a systematic summary, analysis, and evaluation of research results in the fields of energy physics, computational methods, and engineering applications. The author aims to provide reference and inspiration for researchers in related fields by reviewing and summarizing existing literature, elaborating on the current research status, existing problems, and future development trends. A review should have high academic and forward-looking qualities, delve into hot topics (such as AI for Science, CCUS, or unconventional reservoir modeling) in depth, and provide readers with a comprehensive perspective.
• Treatise (Original Research Article): A research-oriented article that typically proposes new scientific discoveries or innovative solutions based on laboratory experiments, numerical simulations, or theoretical analysis. Academic articles emphasize originality and scientificity, usually involving in-depth technical and theoretical content (e.g., multiphysics coupling mechanisms or advanced algorithm development), and need to demonstrate the specific methods, processes, and results of the research. Such articles should have strong academic value and practical application prospects.
• Cases: Usually summarize specific problems or successful experiences in the field of energy engineering practice. By providing a detailed description of a production practice, technological application (e.g., digital twin deployment or field pilot tests), or problem-solving solution, analyzing the underlying technology or management philosophy, and offering reference for solving similar problems. Case studies generally require a certain level of practicality and guiding significance, with language that is easy to understand and highlights practical application effects.
• News: Briefly report on the latest developments, research results, or policy changes in the energy and computing sectors. News items generally have a small amount of information, are timely and news oriented, have direct and concise content, and aim to convey the latest technological achievements, industry trends, policies and regulations in the field to readers.

3. The Scope of the Journal

• The scope of the journal encompasses a wide range of topics related to Earth Sciences and Energy Geoscience, including but not limited to: Energy Geoscience; Advanced Energy Systems; Intelligent Modeling; Numerical Simulation; Artificial Intelligence; CCUS; Digital Energy; Multi-physics & Multi-scale Analysis.

4. The Word Count of the Paper

• The word count of the paper should be between 3000 and 8000 words. If necessary, it can be more than 8000 words, but it should not be less than 3000 words.

5. Writing Structure and Format of the Paper

• All authors are required to submit their manuscripts in accordance with the standard format set by the journal. To assist with this process, we have provided a template that outlines the necessary formatting guidelines. Please refer to this template to ensure your submission meets all required standards.

• Please note: AESIG does not accept the designation of multiple authors as joint first authors.

6. Chart Requirements

• Picture：it is required that the content and font in the picture should be clear and arranged in the middle, and the serial number and title of the picture should be placed below the picture.
• Table：three line table is adopted, and the table number and title are placed above the table.

8. Manuscript Processing

• The author can view the latest status of manuscript processing through the submission system, and communicate with the editor online and modify the submission content. In addition, we will also use the email to contact with authors.

9. Plagiarism Check for the Paper

• Authors need to check the paper duplication rate in advance on the iThenticate platform of Turnitin Company, and the overall duplication rate of the paper shall not be higher than 20%.（中文翻译：作者需要提前在Turnitin公司旗下的iThenticate平台（国际最权威的主流查重平台）进行论文重复率检测，论文的总体重复率不得高于20%。）

10. Article Processing Charge

• Manuscripts are accepted free of charge with no APC fees. 

11. Paper Review Period

• AESIG will give the first review opinion within 1 week after receiving the submissions. On the other hand, the time of acceptance and publication depends on the quality of the paper and the progress of revision.
