Abstract:
This paper explored the role of adolescent mental health APP in emotion management and mental health. Through the comprehensive analysis of the existing literature and data, we found that this kind of APP has a certain positive impact on adolescent mental health. The study found that using the mental health APP, adolescents can better understand their emotional state, learn to effectively manage their emotions, and obtain guidance and help from their mental health. Such APP can also provide personalized mental health services to meet the different needs of adolescents. However, some issues should also be noted, such as privacy protection, information security and other challenges. The adolescent mental health APP plays an important role in improving the adolescent mental health level, but it also needs to be further improved and standardized.

1 Foreword

In this study, we investigated the use of the adolescent mental health APP, and the results showed that the vast majority of adolescents had used the related APP in their daily life. Up to 85 percent of adolescents said they regularly use the mental health APP for emotion management and stress release, while 10 percent said they would consider using the APP [1] only under certain circumstances. Another 5% of respondents said they had never used any mental health APP for reasons including concerns about privacy security and doubts about the effectiveness of the APP.
The findings also showed that the frequency and duration of mental health APP use in adolescents showed some correlation with their mental health status. Among them, teenagers who often feel anxiety and stress are more likely to use such APP frequently, while those with more stable psychological state may choose to use less or even not. These results show that the adolescent mental health APP plays an important role in emotion management and mental health, and also call on relevant institutions and developers to continuously improve and promote these APP in order to better serve the mental health needs of the vast number of adolescents.

There is some correlation between the use of mental health APP in adolescents and their mental health status. These APP play important roles in emotion management and mental health and fill the inadequacy of traditional mental health services. By providing rich emotion management tools, psychological counseling services, mental health knowledge and other functions, the adolescent mental health APP helps teenagers to better understand and manage their emotions and improve their mental health level. These APPs not only play an important role in emotion management, but also can prevent and reduce the occurrence of adolescent mental health problems, and promote the all-round development of their physical and mental health. By using the adolescent mental health APP, adolescents can obtain professional psychological support and guidance, learn to effectively manage emotions and cope with stress, so as to establish a healthy psychological model. In general, the adolescent mental health APP is the guardian of the adolescent mental health, providing key support and guidance for their growth, and is of great significance to the development of adolescent mental health.
