Abstract:
This study designed and realized an intelligent waste classification system, aiming to cultivate the environmental awareness of teenagers. The system combines image recognition and speech recognition technology, which can accurately judge garbage categories and provide corresponding classification information. The system has a simple and intuitive interface, easy to operate and understand. Through the interaction with users, the system can stimulate the enthusiasm of teenagers to protect the environment and guide them to develop good living habits. This study explores the potential value of intelligent waste classification system in cultivating environmental awareness of teenagers from both theoretical and practical aspects, which provides a useful reference for future environmental education. The system is based on the Internet of Things technology, combined with image recognition and machine learning algorithms, to identify and classify different types of garbage. The system has an intuitive user interface to facilitate users to understand the knowledge of garbage classification. By connecting with the community trash can, the system can also provide real-time status information of the trash can to guide users to put it correctly. The experimental results show that the system identification accuracy is high, which has positive significance for popularizing environmental knowledge and cultivating the awareness of environmental protection.

1. Introduce
1.1 Research Background
Nowadays, with the acceleration of urbanization process and the growth of population, waste disposal has become an urgent environmental problem to be solved. At present, there are still some problems in China, such as incomplete garbage classification and unsatisfactory garbage treatment technology, which not only causes serious pollution to the environment, but also affects the quality of people's life. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the intelligent waste classification system.
The design and implementation of the intelligent garbage classification system can help people to classify the garbage more conveniently and quickly, improve the efficiency of garbage disposal, and reduce the damage to the environment. At the same time, through the promotion and application of this system, it also helps to cultivate the awareness of environmental protection. Teenagers are the future of the society, and their environmental awareness and behavior habits will directly affect the environmental quality and sustainable development in the future.
Therefore, this paper aims to guide teenagers to develop good environmental habits and enhance their environmental awareness through the designing and realizing the intelligent waste classification system [1]. At the same time, it is hoped that through the promotion of this system, the whole society will pay attention to environmental protection and jointly build a beautiful home.

2 Design and implementation of the intelligent waste sorting system
2.1 Overview of the garbage classification system
Intelligent garbage sorting system is an innovative system that combines the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and big data technology, aiming to improve the efficiency and accuracy of garbage sorting and promote the development of environmental protection. The system includes sensors, intelligent identification module, data analysis module and user interface.
The sensor module is responsible for monitoring the capacity of garbage and garbage types in the garbage bin in real time, and transmitting the data to the intelligent identification module. The intelligent recognition module classifies and identifies the garbage through image recognition and artificial intelligence algorithm, and transmits the results to the data analysis module for further processing and analysis. Users can view the filling and classification statistics of garbage cans through the mobile App or web end to realize remote monitoring and management.
2.2 System requirements analysis

Functional requirement analysis involves the specific functional modules of the system, such as garbage identification, classification guidance, reward mechanism, etc. In the process of non-functional requirements analysis, we focus on the system performance, security, reliability and maintainability to ensure that the system design can meet the needs of users and have good performance. Through the system requirements analysis, we can fully understand the needs of the user, and lay a solid foundation for the design and implementation of the intelligent waste classification system [4].
2.3 System design and implementation
The design and implementation of intelligent garbage classification system is to effectively realize the purpose of garbage classification and resource recycling. The core technologies mainly include [5] of garbage identification technology, intelligent identification algorithm and data processing technology. The system automatically classifies the garbage through the image recognition technology, and places the different types of garbage in the corresponding trash cans respectively. Through RFID technology and sensor technology to achieve the monitoring and management of the garbage can, to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of garbage classification.
In the implementation process, the key steps include system design, hardware selection and construction, software development and testing, etc. In the design stage, identify the system functions and requirements, select applicable hardware equipment and sensors, and conduct system architecture design. The selection and construction of the hardware need to choose the appropriate trash can, RFID card reader and sensor according to the actual situation. The development of the software requires the writing of garbage classification identification algorithms and data processing programs to ensure the stability and reliability of the system.

3 Cultivate the environmental awareness of young people
3.1 Analysis of the status quo of youth's environmental protection awareness
Teenagers are the main force in the future society, and their environmental awareness and behavior are crucial to their sustainable development in the future. However, at present, most teenagers' understanding of environmental protection is still on the surface, lack of in-depth understanding and action. This is mainly because school education and family environment pay insufficient attention to environmental awareness, leading to the lack of relevant knowledge and practical experience among teenagers.
Teenagers generally lack of understanding of environmental problems, and lack of necessary understanding and attention to the classification and treatment of waste. Without the formation of the correct concept of environmental protection, easy to produce a waste of resources and environmental damage behavior. With the development of society, garbage classification has become an inevitable trend, which is not only an environmental problem, but also an important way to reuse resources [7].
3.2 Discussion on environmental protection education methods
The cultivation of environmental awareness is a long-term and continuous process, and teenagers as the main force of the future society, the cultivation of their environmental awareness is particularly important. It is necessary to adopt a variety of environmental education methods for teenagers.
Through the classroom teaching to teach environmental protection knowledge, let the students understand the harm of environmental pollution to the ecosystem and human health, so as to trigger their environmental awareness. Organize field visits, let teenagers personally feel the reality of environmental problems, stimulate their environmental protection action [8]. Moreover, design environmental protection themed games or competitions through gamification, so that students can learn and cultivate environmental awareness in the participation.
However, a single educational method does not meet the needs of different groups and thus requires a comprehensive use of various educational methods. Classroom teaching can help students establish theoretical knowledge, field visits can intuitively feel the problems, and gamification teaching can improve students' participation and interest. Different environmental protection education methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, so it is necessary to choose according to the specific situation in the implementation to achieve the best results. Through a variety of ways to work together, can effectively cultivate the environmental awareness of young people.
3.3 Application of intelligent waste classification system in environmental protection education
The application of intelligent waste classification system in environmental protection education has attracted more and more attention. Through such a system, teenagers can develop their environmental awareness through games and interactive learning related to garbage sorting. In the system design, we need to consider how to skillfully integrate garbage sorting and environmental protection knowledge into the game to attract teenagers to participate and learn from [9].
When designing the intelligent waste classification system, we can use the mathematical model to improve the classification accuracy of the system [10]. A common model is the support vector machine (Support Vector Machine, SVM), as formulated as follows:
In this formula, x represents the input feature vector, w and b represent the weight vector and bias respectively, and y represents the classification result. By optimizing the values of w and b, we can better classify garbage, improve the accuracy of the system, and thus better guide teenagers to participate in environmental protection education activities.
4 Experimental design and analysis of the results
4.1 Experimental design
In order to cultivate teenagers' awareness of environmental protection, we have designed an intelligent garbage classification system to help users correctly classify garbage through voice recognition and image recognition technology. We collected sound and image data for different types of garbage, and trained and optimized using machine learning algorithms. Then, we designed a mobile App that applied the system in practice, allowing users to capture and classify garbage through the phone camera. We invited some teenagers to participate in the experiment, let them use the system in their daily life, and collected experimental data.
The experimental results show that the system has high accuracy and stability in identifying different types of garbage, and helps users to complete garbage classification quickly and correctly. The survey showed that the teenagers who participated in the experiment had a deeper understanding of the importance of garbage classification after using the system, realized the importance of garbage classification to environmental protection, and changed the habit of discarding garbage at will.
4.2 Analysis of the experimental results
The experimental results show that the intelligent waste classification system plays a positive role in cultivating teenagers' awareness of environmental protection. Through the systematic guidance and prompts, the teenagers showed a more active and positive attitude in garbage classification, and learned the correct classification methods and environmental protection knowledge. Systematic feedback and reward mechanisms also effectively stimulate their desire to participate and learn.
However, some problems were also found in the experiments. Some teenagers still have difficulties in the operation of the system, and their ability to understand and implement the classification standards needs to be improved. Some teenagers have a certain degree of fatigue and aversion after using the system for a long period of time, and they need to better balance the combination of system guidance and independent learning.
5 Conclusions and outlook
Design and realizing intelligent waste classification system is of great significance in improving the efficiency of waste disposal and reducing environmental pollution. Through systematic design and promotion, teenagers can be guided to develop good environmental habits and enhance their environmental awareness, so as to contribute to the future environmental protection and sustainable development. The design of an intelligent garbage sorting system needs to consider the friendliness of the user interface, the stability of the system and the accuracy of the data. The system is mainly composed of sensors, intelligent identification module, data analysis module and user interface, etc., to realizes the classification and identification of garbage through sound and image recognition technology. Through the analysis of the experimental results, the intelligent garbage classification system has played a positive role in promoting the awareness of environmental protection. However, there are still some difficulties and problems in the operation and classification criteria of the system, which require further improvement and optimization. By strengthening the systematic education function and providing more comprehensive environmental protection knowledge, teenagers can be better guided to participate in environmental protection activities, and cultivate their environmental awareness and action ability.
