Table 1: Results of the local endangered species survey

In this study, we conducted detailed surveys of locally endangered species and developed conservation strategies. We designed corresponding survey methods for different habitat types and conducted multiple field surveys in different seasons. Through these methods, we have successfully recorded a large amount of data on locally endangered species, including information on its distribution, habit, and abundance.

Based on our findings, we found some problems that cannot be ignored. The habitat destruction of locally endangered species is a threat to their survival. Some human activities have had a direct impact on the population size of locally endangered species, and corresponding conservation measures need to be developed to address this problem. We also found interactions between some locally endangered species whose information will help us to design more effective conservation strategies.

In formulating the conservation strategies, we followed the principle of "conservation first, rational utilization", and developed a series of conservation plans through the analysis and collation of the survey results for different endangered species. These plans include various measures to strengthen habitat protection, restrict human activities, and popularize science. We believe that through our efforts, the conservation of the locally endangered species will achieve positive results.

1.2 Research Significance

In biodiversity conservation, surveys and conservation strategies for locally endangered species [1]. Through the investigation of endangered species, we can better understand their living environment, population size and distribution, so as to develop targeted conservation strategies to protect the living space of these endangered species.

In practical surveys, we can use mathematical models to analyze the survival status of endangered species, such as using catch-marker-return methods to estimate populations. The population size can be calculated by the following formula:

In the formula, N represents the population number of individuals, M represents the number of labeled individuals, C represents the number of labeled individuals recaptured, and R represents the number of returned individuals reenter. With such mathematical models, the number of endangered species can be more accurately assessed to provide a scientific basis for conservation efforts.

2 Related Theories and Concepts

2.1 The Concept and Importance of Biodiversity

Biodiversity refers to the diversity and richness of a variety of living species on Earth. It embodies the diversity and complexity of living systems on Earth, and is the basis of the interaction and interdependence between various organisms in nature. Biodiversity is not only about the balance differences in nature, but also plays a key role in maintaining human survival and development.

Biodiversity is essential for maintaining the stability and health of ecosystems. The interrelationship between different species constitutes a complex ecological network that maintains a balanced ecosystem [2]. Each of these species has specific functions and roles, and the lack of any one species can lead to the collapse of the ecosystem. Therefore, the protection of biodiversity is not only the respect for nature, but also the protection of their own living environment.

Biodiversity is also important for social and economic development. Many drugs, food, and industrial raw materials are directly or indirectly dependent on the biological resources in nature. Therefore, biodiversity conservation is not only beneficial to maintain the ecological environment, but also can promote the sustainable development of the economy.

Investigation of locally endangered species is a crucial step when implementing conservation strategies. Through scientific investigation and monitoring, to understand the number, distribution, habitat conditions and other information of species, to provide a basis for the formulation of effective protection measures. At the same time, considering the natural environment, social and economic factors, flexible and feasible protection strategies are formulated to ensure the survival and reproduction of endangered species.

Protecting biodiversity is the responsibility and mission of human beings. Only by truly realizing the importance of biodiversity and taking active and effective conservation measures can we realize the harmonious coexistence between man and nature in the [3].

3 Survey of Locally Endangered Species

3.1 Investigation Method

Figure 1: Habitat distribution map of local endangered species

Field investigation is a crucial step in biodiversity conservation research. Field surveys of locally endangered species allow us to understand their habitat distribution, populations, and the threats they face. Several representative survey sites, including forests, wetlands and grasslands, were selected to obtain a series of valuable data through field observation and sampling. Figure 1 shows the distribution of native endangered species in different habitats, and the distribution range of different species can clearly indicate their preferences in different habitats. For example, in wetland habitats, species A is wider and more concentrated in specific areas in forests. These data provide an important reference for the development of conservation strategies that could help us to better protect the living environment of locally endangered species and improve their population size and genetic diversity. Field investigation is not only helpful to scientific research, but also plays a key role in the protection work. We hope that more research and protection work can be carried out and deepened in the future.

3.2 Data Analysis

Data analysis is one of the key steps in the conservation of the endangered species. Various methods and techniques need to be used for the statistical analysis of the data obtained from the survey. Scatter charts, bar charts and other charts can be used to show information about the number and distribution range of species, so as to help researchers more intuitively understand the status of species.

Through statistical methods such as analysis of variance and regression analysis, the data can be deeply mined to find out the effects of different factors on endangered species and provide a basis for the formulation of conservation strategies. For example, the relationship between the number of species and environmental factors can be analyzed, so as to identify possible influencing factors and develop corresponding protective measures.

In addition to conventional statistical analysis methods, data mining technology can also be used to extract effective information and discover laws from large amounts of data through machine learning algorithms and other methods. Through clustering analysis of species distribution data, the rules of species distribution between different regions can provide reference for developing regional conservation measures.

Data analysis can not only provide insight into the status of endangered species, but also help discover the focus and direction of conservation. Therefore, the work of biodiversity conservation requires the continuous deepening of data analysis methods and technical applications in order to more effectively develop conservation strategies and realize the sustainable survival and reproduction of species.

4 Conservation Strategies for Locally Endangered Species

4.1 Analysis of The Protection Status Quo

Local endangered species face many threats, such as habitat destruction, climate change, illegal hunting and other problems. Among them, habitat destruction is one of the most important threats, and human activities lead to ecosystem destruction, making many endangered species lose their living space. Climate change also poses a threat to the survival of endangered species. Climate warming leads to the decrease of habitat and the deterioration of living environment, which affects the survival and reproduction of endangered species.

The existing problems mainly include ineffective supervision, imperfect laws and regulations, and insufficient social awareness. Poor regulation has led to the frequent occurrence of illegal hunting and poaching, posing a great threat to the survival of endangered species. At the same time, the imperfect laws and regulations also leave room for illegal hunters, and the government needs to strengthen supervision and formulate stricter regulations to protect endangered species.

In order to propose effective conservation strategies, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring and investigation of endangered species, and to fully understand the survival conditions of endangered species and the threat facing [4]. Strengthen public education, improve the social awareness and protection of endangered species, and build a good ecological environment [5]. Strengthen the improvement and implementation of laws and regulations, severely punish illegal hunters, and provide better environmental protection for the survival and reproduction of endangered species [6]. Only the joint efforts of the whole society can effectively protect the local endangered species and maintain the biodiversity [7].

4.2 Suggestions on Protection Strategies

In view of the increasing situation of local endangered species, in order to effectively protect these rare organisms, we propose the following scientifically reasonable protection strategies for these rare organisms.

It is crucial to establish a sound monitoring and investigation system. Through regular investigation and monitoring, the survival status of local endangered species can be understood and targeted protection measures can be taken [8]. The construction and management of protected areas is a crucial link. Special nature reserves should be established, and patrols and monitoring should be strengthened to ensure that the habitats of endangered species are effectively protected and prevent man-made destruction.

Carrying out ecological education and publicity work is also an important measure to protect the local endangered species. By carrying out colorful ecological education activities, improve the public awareness of local endangered species protection, guide the public to love wild animals, and participate in the protection work [8]. We should strengthen international cooperation and exchanges, draw on the successful experience and technologies of other countries, and jointly protect endangered species and maintain the ecological balance of the earth.

Only through the joint efforts of the whole society can we effectively protect the local endangered species and let them live and reproduce in the natural environment. We hope that relevant departments and all sectors of society can work closely together to make their own contribution to the protection of local endangered species [9].

5 Conclusions and Outlook

Through the detailed investigation of locally endangered species and the development of conservation strategies, we have successfully recorded a large amount of data on locally endangered species and found some problems that cannot be ignored. In developing conservation strategies, we followed the principle of "conservation first, rational use" and developed a series of conservation plans for different endangered species. Through the analysis and collation of mathematical models, we can more accurately assess the number of endangered species and provide a scientific basis for conservation work. Biodiversity is essential for maintaining the stability and health of ecosystems, and has important implications for socio-economic development. When implementing conservation strategies, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring and investigation of endangered species, strengthen public education and publicity, strengthen the improvement and implementation of laws and regulations, and strengthen international cooperation and exchange [10]. Through the joint efforts of the whole society, we can effectively protect the local endangered species and maintain the biodiversity.
