Macao Open Access Journal (MOAJ)
Open Access (OA), also referred to as an "open access journal" or open-source journal, represents a modern academic communication approach that provides individuals with unrestricted access to peer-reviewed scientific literature, research findings, academic dissertations, technical reports, scientific advancements, and other pertinent research information through online platforms. Readers are empowered to freely read, download, copy, distribute, search, and engage with these documents. The Chinese Open Access Journal Center, established by Macao Scientific Publishers, is dedicated to expediting the dissemination of Chinese academic knowledge and fostering a prominent, comprehensive platform for open access to Chinese scientific research. As part of this initiative, the Macao Open Access Journal (MOAJ) has been curated—a compilation of internationally recognized Chinese journals, conceived and managed by Macao Scientific Publishers using the open access model. Through this approach, swift publication and uninhibited access to scholarly accomplishments are achieved. Our primary emphasis is on ensuring the authenticity of submitted papers. We employ a post-submission free review process and subsequently conduct thorough assessments of articles during extended research cycles. The assessment of an article's impact is determined by its recognition level. Notably, our focus centers on the influence of individual articles, rather than solely on the journal's impact factor. This fundamental distinction sets COAJ apart from other Open Access Journals (OAJ).
