Aims and Scope

Advanced Journal of Microbiology Research (AJMR)  is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering all aspects of microbiology and related disciplines. It was established in 2002 with a mission to publish rigorously peer-reviewed research across the entire spectrum of microbiology.

The aims of the journal include the following:

  • The journal publishes research on prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms such as yeasts, fungi, bacteria, archaea, and protozoa, as well as on interactions between pathogenic microorganisms and their environments or hosts. It focuses in particular on genetics; molecular and cell biology; metabolism and physiology; signal transduction and development; biotechnology; phytopathology; and environmental microbiology and ecology.
  • The journal also considers research and review articles dealing with biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, developmental biology, physiology, pathogenicity, biodiversity, biotechnology, evolution, and genetics of microorganisms and viruses. It also covers plant-microbe interactions, and environmental and theoretical microbiology

AJMR intends to disseminate and communicate scientific knowledge and impactful discoveries to researchers, academics, clinicians and the scientific community. To be accepted for publication, research must be assessed by peer reviewers to be a significant addition to the scientific literature.

Please carefully read the submission guidelines as well as relevant academic ethics and policies before submitting your manuscript.
