Article Processing Charge

This journal is an open-access (OA) publication. All full texts are freely available to readers worldwide: every published article can be read, downloaded in full, cited, and disseminated without restriction on the journal's official website. Macao Scientific Publishers (MOSP) charges no reading or download fees to any institution or individual, and derives no revenue whatsoever from the distribution or readership of journal articles.

    All processing costs of this journal are borne by the authors themselves, their affiliated institutions, or the corresponding research funds. The journal strictly operates a zero-fee policy prior to acceptance: no charges of any kind — including review fees or assessment fees — are collected from the initial screening through to the final acceptance of a manuscript. Upon formal acceptance, the Article Processing Charge (APC) will be applied in accordance with standard procedures.

This journal offers APC waivers and special discount benefits, with all reduction approvals governed and controlled by the editorial office. (1) For invited manuscripts solicited by the editorial office, as well as high-quality original submissions distinguished by novel topics, rigorous argumentation, and outstanding academic impact, a full APC waiver may be granted following comprehensive review. (2) If the first author of a paper is a full-time postgraduate or undergraduate student, a 20% discount pplies. Upon formal acceptance of a manuscript, authors may log in to the submission system to view the full APC breakdown, and after payment is completed, an electronic invoice may be downloaded directly from the system; the information displayed in the system shall prevail. This journal recognizes only the payment channels officially published by MOSP. To facilitate authors in Mainland China, the publisher has authorized domestic collection agencies, and authors may choose either of the following official channels: (1) bank transfer to the publisher's Macao corporate account; or (2) transfer to the designated account of the authorized domestic collection agency.

    Before making payment, authors are advised to verify the complete account information displayed in the system and to be wary of external unfamiliar links or private account details. Collection of fees by any third party or individual without the publisher's written authorization constitutes a violation of regulations and the law; authors shall bear all consequences arising from transfers made to unauthorized entities. Should any questions arise, authors are advised to contact the editorial office immediately to verify the authenticity of the account and the payment procedure.
