Aims and Scope
Journal of Strategy Implementation (JSI) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that seeks to publish high quality original research, reviews, case studies, theoretical frameworks, and critical perspectives in all areas of strategy implementation. The journal is a diverse, scholarly community dedicated to bridging the gap between strategic planning and real-world outcomes through the publication of high-quality, impact-oriented research. All articles must be of a quality and context that would be of interest to a broad range of readership, including academics, organizational leaders, and practitioners.
JSI focuses on the practical execution of strategies designed to enhance collective well-being, with a particular emphasis on regional economic development, social progress, employment and labor practices, environmental sustainability, and quality of life. It seeks to publish articles with strong theoretical frameworks and international significance that offer critical analysis of implementation processes, outcomes, and lessons learned. The journal welcomes contributions that explore the dynamics of organizational coordination, cross-sector collaboration, and the measurement of strategic impact on communities and ecosystems.
The aims of the journal include the following:
- To publish the highest standards of research on strategy implementation and to be a significant contributor to the improvement of organizational practices in partnership with businesses, non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, and community institutions both locally and internationally.
- To publish high quality papers that could potentially transform implementation practices beyond the context in which the original work is undertaken, offering insights applicable across different sectors and regions.
- To publish articles representing a wide variety of methodological and philosophical traditions, including empirical studies, theoretical examinations, case-based inquiries, and critical analyses of implementation processes from multiple disciplinary perspectives.
- To promote rigorous thinking on how strategic goals are achieved and to identify the structural, cultural, and operational forces that shape successful implementation, including the examination of ethical, economic, social, and practical dimensions.
- To publish articles that will prepare professionals to lead implementation efforts effectively, to practice social responsibility, and to exemplify intellectual curiosity in addressing complex challenges.
- To collaborate with local and global partners in advancing knowledge that contributes to the development of more resilient, equitable, and sustainable communities through effective strategy execution.
- To publish papers that will cultivate outstanding professionals and researchers, producing scholarship that refines implementation practices and provides valuable support to partners in the field.
- To report research on topics of international significance across different implementation contexts, welcoming manuscripts that demonstrate relevance to diverse cultural, economic, and organizational settings.
- To encourage collaboration by international teams of researchers, fostering cross-cultural exchange of implementation knowledge and methodologies.
- To publish articles with a strong theoretical framework, clear engagement with relevant literature, and robust design and analysis, providing critical insights and recommendations for advancing implementation research and practice.
- To publish articles that reflect a dual commitment to the preparation of skilled practitioners and the advancement of scholarship, applying theoretical insights to practical challenges and building stronger communities through improved implementation outcomes.
- To serve the interests of researchers and practitioners by providing access to resources and support systems that allow them to reach their fullest potential in studying and advancing strategy implementation.
