1. Submission

  • Online submission:recommend the submission method (  click here to submit online)  . The author can register and login the submission system, select the target journal, fill in the relevant content and upload the required documents, and then complete the submission easily.
  • Email submission:If the online submission method is not available, you can use email submission. You can send your paper and the plagiarism check file to our official email address journal-office@mospbs.com. (We do not recommend using email for submission, email is more used for contact.)

2. Acceptable Article Types

This journal accepts manuscripts in the following format types:

  • Review: Provide systematic syntheses and critical evaluations of existing scholarship on strategy implementation across diverse disciplines and methodologies. These articles aim to consolidate knowledge, assess methodological advances, and identify emerging priorities in implementation research and practice. By offering comprehensive perspectives on fundamental theoretical issues, organizational forces, and evolving topics, they seek to stimulate scholarly discussion and inform future research agendas.
  • Research Article: Present original scientific findings, innovative methodological approaches, or substantial applied research derived from investigations into strategy implementation processes. Emphasizing originality, methodological rigor, and strong theoretical frameworks, these articles contribute to core domains such as organizational coordination, cross-sector collaboration, and the measurement of strategic impact. Submissions should demonstrate robust design, clear analysis, and meaningful implications for transforming practice or research in local and international contexts.
  • Case Study: Document and analyze real-world strategy implementation practices, interventions, or organizational initiatives across various sectors. Through detailed examination, these articles distill practical lessons, evaluate the effectiveness of execution strategies, and provide evidence-based guidance for addressing similar challenges. They emphasize the translation of strategic intent into tangible outcomes and the building of stronger communities through improved implementation practices.
  • Editorial: Provide perspectives, insights, and commentary from the editorial team or invited experts on issues of broad relevance to implementation scholarship. Editorials may address emerging themes, methodological debates, practical challenges, or the strategic direction of the journal. Typically concise and authoritative, they aim to contextualize developments, highlight key contributions, and stimulate intellectual reflection and discussion.
  • Short Communications: Report concise and timely research findings, preliminary results, or focused methodological notes that are of clear relevance to strategy implementation. These submissions facilitate rapid dissemination of important insights or novel observations that may not yet warrant a full-length article. They are expected to maintain scientific rigor and offer clear implications for research or professional practice.

3. The Scope of the Journal

  • The scope of the journal encompasses the broad, interdisciplinary field of strategy implementation scholarship, including but not limited to: the practical execution of strategic goals across organizational and societal contexts; regional economic development and its implementation challenges; employment and labor practices; environmental sustainability initiatives; social progress and quality of life improvements; methodological diversity in implementation research; the critical examination of structural, cultural, and operational forces shaping successful execution; and the translation of strategic intent into tangible outcomes that build stronger communities locally and internationally.

4. The Word Count of the Paper

  • The word count of the paper should be between 3000 and 8000 words. If necessary, it can be more than 8000 words, but it should not be less than 3000 words.

5. Writing Structure and Format of the Paper

  • All authors are required to submit their manuscripts in accordance with the standard format set by the journal. To assist with this process, we have provided a template that outlines the necessary formatting guidelines. Please refer to this template to ensure your submission meets all required standards.

  • Please note: JSI does not accept the designation of multiple authors as joint first authors.

6. Chart Requirements

  • Picture:it is required that the content and font in the picture should be clear and arranged in the middle, and the serial number and title of the picture should be placed below the picture.
  • Table:three line table is adopted, and the table number and title are placed above the table.

8. Manuscript Processing

  • The author can view the latest status of manuscript processing through the submission system, and communicate with the editor online and modify the submission content. In addition, we will also use the email to contact with authors.

9. Plagiarism Check for the Paper

  • Authors need to check the paper duplication rate in advance on the iThenticate platform of Turnitin Company, and the overall duplication rate of the paper shall not be higher than 20%.(中文翻译:作者需要提前在Turnitin公司旗下的iThenticate平台(国际最权威的主流查重平台)进行论文重复率检测,论文的总体重复率不得高于20%。)

10. Article Processing Charge

  • This journal does not charge an article processing fee (APC).
  • The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. No fees are required at the time of submission, and the peer review process is entirely independent of any payment considerations.

11. Paper Review Period

  • JSI will give the first review opinion within 4 week after receiving the submissions. On the other hand, the time of acceptance and publication depends on the quality of the paper and the progress of revision.
